Sold out the hall.
Now keep the night.
This page is for the wedding party, the friends who booked the Legion hall, and the couple who are supposed to just show up. A stag and doe is a fundraiser first, so the organizers spend the night at the ticket table, the bar and the raffle, and nobody is holding the camera. The whole town takes photos anyway: the toonie toss, the crown and anchor, the couple carried across the dance floor. One QR code by the door and on the raffle tables gives every one of those phones a single place to send them.
One-time. No account needed to buy — about a minute.

The moments guests actually photograph at stag and does
Why stag and does work better on Picsui
Written for the person hosting this one, and checked against what the product actually does.
A ticket door that runs from a phone
Sell the tickets the way you already do, then import the buyers as the guest list and check people in at the door from a phone. The organizer at the table sees who has arrived, who is still coming and the party size on each ticket, and the couple's parents get a real count for the thank-you notes.
The photo wall on the hall projector
Most Legion and community halls have a projector or a TV behind the bar. Open the slideshow on it and the photos from the toonie toss are on the wall before the raffle is drawn, which gets more people scanning the code than any announcement from the DJ.
A gallery the couple can show their parents
A stag and doe runs late and the bar runs the whole time. Turn on host review and a member of the wedding party approves uploads from a phone between raffle draws, so the couple wakes up to a finished gallery rather than a clean-up job on the morning after.
No app. No account. One scan.
Guests point their camera at a QR code and are uploading in seconds. Nobody installs anything, nobody creates a login, and the grandparents can do it as easily as the teenagers.
Guest list and RSVPs in the same place
Import your list, send each guest a personal invite link, collect replies and party sizes, and check people in at the door from your phone.
Door check-in from your phone
See who has arrived, who is still expected, and how many are in each party — without a clipboard at the entrance.
Live photo wall on any screen
Open the slideshow on a TV, projector or laptop and new uploads appear as they arrive. Grid and collage layouts, transition presets, and a phone remote to control it from across the room.
You approve before anyone sees
Turn on host review and every upload waits in your queue until you approve it. AI screening flags anything questionable so you are not scrolling through hundreds of photos at midnight.
Full-resolution downloads
Download any photo, or the whole event as one archive, at original quality. What guests uploaded is what you keep — no compression, no watermark on paid events.
How it works
Set up in a minute. Collect for the whole event.
Create the event under an organizer's account, not the couple's, and name the couple as the recipient so the finished gallery reaches them after the wedding weekend.
Print the QR code on the tickets if there is time, and on a sign at the door and each raffle table if there is not. Ask the DJ to mention it once before the toonie toss.
Guests upload all night. If tickets were sold in advance, import the list and check people in from a phone at the door so the count is right for the couple.
Download the full archive the next week and hand the couple the gallery link along with the cheque from the night.
Try uploading as a guest.
Scan this with your phone the way a guest at your event would. Choose a sample photo and upload it from your browser, then open the demo gallery to see it land. Photos pass a quick AI check first; videos wait for a person.
- Scan the code with your phone camera — it opens straight in the browser.
- Upload a sample photo. Look for the upload confirmation so you know it reached the host.
Use a sample you are comfortable sharing with Picsui. Please keep personal or sensitive photos out of the demo.

This is the same kind of code your guests scan at your event.
Getting the most from stag and does
A stag and doe is organized by the wedding party, so the event should live in one organizer's account rather than the couple's. The couple are guests of honour at a party thrown for them, and they should not be the ones approving uploads or answering questions about the code. Name them as the recipient and the completed gallery is emailed to them on a date you choose, which most organizers set for the week after the wedding so it arrives when they finally have time to look. Whoever holds the account also keeps the full-resolution archive for the parents and the thank-you cards.
Most stag and does sell tickets in advance through the wedding party and at the door on the night. If you have a list of who bought in advance, import it as the guest list and each name gets a personal invite link with the code, which doubles as a reminder of the date. On the night, the person at the door checks people in from a phone and sees the party size for each ticket, so the count for the hall and the bar is real rather than a guess. Walk-ups can still scan the code on the sign; nobody needs to be on the list to upload.
Put the slideshow on the hall's projector or the TV behind the bar, and leave the phone remote with whoever is running the raffle so they can pause it for the draws. The uploads come in waves: a burst after the toonie toss, another during the crown and anchor when the winners want proof, and the biggest one after midnight. Turn on host review before the doors open and split the approving between two people in the wedding party, one early and one late. Nothing appears on the wall until one of them says yes, which matters in a town where the guest list is also the church list.
Common questions about stag and does
Who should create the event, the couple or the organizers?
The organizers. The couple are the reason for the party and should be dancing, not managing a photo queue. Whoever is running the ticket table creates the event, prints the code and controls host review. Name the couple as the recipient and the gallery is emailed to them on a private link on the date you choose, with no account needed, while the organizers keep the full archive for the parents and the thank-you cards.
Can we use it as the ticket list and check people in at the door?
Yes, for the part that matters on the night. Picsui does not sell the tickets; you do that the way you always have. Once they are sold, import the buyers as the guest list, send each a personal link, and on the night the person at the door checks them in from a phone with the party size for each. Walk-ups who pay at the door scan the code on the sign and upload without being on the list at all.
Does everyone need to install something? Half the hall is over sixty.
No. A guest points the phone camera at the QR code and the upload page opens in the browser. There is nothing to install and no account to create, and a name is optional. Guest pages are in English, Español, Français, chosen from the phone's own setting. The people who never manage a group chat manage this, because it is one button and the photo goes from their hand straight into the gallery.
The bar is open all night. Can we approve photos before they go on the wall?
Turn on host review when you create the event and every upload waits in a queue until someone with the host login approves it. AI screening flags anything questionable first, so the person approving is looking at a short list on a phone between raffle draws, not scrolling through hundreds of photos at closing time. The slideshow on the projector shows only approved photos, and you can remove anything afterwards.
What does it cost, and does the price change with the ticket count?
An Event Pass is $29, paid once, and the price is the same whether you sell a hundred tickets or five hundred. It includes unlimited uploads with a 25 GB fair-use bound, the guest list with check-in, host review, the slideshow, full-resolution downloads and 365 days of hosting. There is no subscription and no charge per guest, so it comes out of the float rather than the profit for the couple.
