Common questions
Do guests need to download an app?
Not with either. Picsui guests scan a QR code and upload in the browser, with no app and no account. Wedbox also lets guests upload without installing an app.
Does Picsui work on all phones?
Yes. Any phone with a camera and a browser — iPhone, Android, even older devices. The QR code opens a standard web page; no install, no account creation.
Can I see photos live during the event?
Yes, with either. Picsui's live slideshow displays guest photos on any screen at the venue as they arrive, and Wedbox offers a live slideshow too. The difference is video: Picsui's Event Pass also includes a private live stream for guests who cannot attend.
Can I approve photos before guests see them?
Yes. On the Event Pass you can switch on approval, and every upload waits in a queue until you approve it. You can also remove any photo at any time.
Is there a free trial?
There's no trial, but there is a Free Preview: the first 60 uploads are shown, with 5 full-resolution originals and watermarked previews. The gallery locks 7 days after the event and photos are deleted 30 days after upload. When you're ready, the $39 Event Pass is one payment for one event, with no subscription.
