Getting the most from preschool graduations
Seat the broadcast phone where a grandparent would want to sit. The stream is worth far more from a tripod at the front corner, at child height, than from a parent's seat in the third row behind a forest of raised phones. Start it a few minutes before the children walk in, keep it running through the song and the diploma walk, and let it end at the cupcakes. Send families the link and the start time two days ahead with a line about time zones, because the grandparents in another country will set an alarm for it. Ask one parent to also film the song from a phone and upload the clip, so the families who could not join live still have it.
