The Story
Sarah and James wanted their September garden wedding to feel intimate despite the 200-person guest list. They had hired a professional photographer, but they also wanted the candid, unfiltered moments that only guests could capture — the dance floor from every angle, the kids running through the vineyard, the quiet conversations between old friends.
They set up Picsui with a single QR code printed on each table tent and projected on a screen near the bar. Within the first hour of the reception, over 60 guests had uploaded photos directly from their phones — no app download, no sign-up. The couple connected two TVs to the live slideshow feature, one near the dance floor and one in the lounge area, so guests could see their photos appear in real time.
By the end of the night, the gallery had 1,847 photos and 43 videos. Sarah's grandmother, who lives in Florida and couldn't attend, watched the livestream from her iPad and later browsed the full gallery to download her favorites. The couple used the bulk download feature the next morning to pull every single photo in full resolution — before anyone's phone storage got cleared.
“We got back from our honeymoon and had almost 2,000 photos waiting for us. The slideshow on the TVs was a huge hit — guests kept going back to see if their photo had appeared yet. It turned picture-taking into a game.”
